Evoke 2008 was held at the Vulkanhalle in Cologne, Germany. It was the 11th Evoke event, and the fourth time at this location.

In the neighbouring Sensor Club, a parallel music event called Evoke Tracks was hosted on two dancefloors. It featured Resound (who could not play due to a cancelled flight), glxblt, 2krazy as well as local DJs Penelope, Dexter Dub, Napalm Dread, Monkey Matters and Mr. Lagos. Visuals were done by Ruthene, Raytrayza, Zak FX and Rudi Carrera.
